Masonian Bowls Club joined Bowls England's Bowls' Big Weekend in 2022.
The Bowls’ Big Weekend is a national event that took place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th May, providing the opportunity for you, your friends and family to give bowls a go. Up and down the country bowls clubs opened their doors to people who want to try a new sport, have some fun and meet new people. With a summer of sport ahead, where lawn bowls will take centre stage at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, there was plenty of involvement across the land!
Masonian Bowls Club gave over 40 people a taster of the sport between Saturday 28th May and Sunday 29th May 2022. From 5 year olds to 75 year olds, everyone got involved! Our members were on hand to give guidance and tell them more about the game. In glorious sunshine, it was a great weekend. Thanks to those who visited!
